Summary

Description

The buildings on the south side of East Genesee Street in Skaneateles, New York from #24 through #42 (right to left). The original buildings of this downtown business district were destroyed by fire in 1835. The buildings are all located within the Skaneatles Historic District.

  1. 24 (right) - 1970, modern commercial building (White Sleigh, not a contributing property to the historic district)
  2. 26 - 1830, commercial row building, Italianate (Fleur-de-lis)
  3. 28 - 1837, commercial row building, Federal style (Realty USA)
  4. 32 - 1836-50, commericial row building, Federal style (Exit Realty)
  5. 36 - 1836, commercial row building (Skaneatles Furs)
  6. 38 - 1836, commercial row building (Imagine)
  7. 42 (left) - 1836, commercial row building (Tranquility Salon)
