Summary

Description
English: Capel a Thy Capel Peniel Chapel and Chapel House Peniel, Llanddona's Calvinist chapel, was first built in 1814 and rebuilt in 1850 with further extensions in 1888. It had a number of subsidiary Sunday School rooms, at Sling SH5877, Llaniestyn SH5879 and Llanddona beach SH5780. In 1953 the main chapel was struck by lightning causing extensive damage. The Calvinists of Llanddona have a history of attracting thunderbolts, the Llaniestyn Sunday School room was also badly damaged by lightning back in 1897.
