Summary
| Description |
English: Parish Room and War Memorial, Hillsborough Hillsborough can only be described as 'quaint' - certainly when compared to the neighbouring towns/cities of Dromore (my hometown can't compete in this field) and Lisburn. The very Parish Room, which sits at the bottom of the long driveway up to the church, has a bit of character. The congregation more frequently avail of a recently constructed and impressive Parish Centre tucked away off the main driveway - this little building gets uses as a youth club from time to time.
The War Memorial takes the style of Celtic Cross (in Dromore's favour - we have an authentic one of these). |
