It is the understanding of the RMLI that this building was moved from Quogue, NY to Riverhead by the Corwin & Vail Lumber Co. to be used as an office. It has been told the building was originally used as a coal and fuel company office at Quogue. This information has not been verified but is "local lore." Don Fisher, President RMLI
