He was Alderman to the Guild of the Holy Trinity, Constable of Newark Castle, Principal Steward of the Liberty of Newark, Receiver to Cardinal Wolsey and Bishop Longland of Lincoln, Sheriff of Nottingham & Derby and Keeper of the Records in the Counties of Nottingham and parts of Kesteven.
