Walking or Bicycling will work in some parts Coweta, But the most effective means of transit is by far the Auto. Coweta has no connection yet with the Tulsa Transit Bus Networks.

  • Rooster Days is the high point of the year in Broken Arrow.
  • The Azalea Festival and Renaissance Faire are held annually in Muskogee.
  • Red Bird is located on the outskirts of Coweta. It is one of several towns in Oklahoma with an all African-American population that formed in the years following the American Civil War when African-American settlers, known as "Exodusters", Journeyed West to escape poverty and racism.
