Summary
| Description |
English: Robert Burns's Mausoleum, Dumfries This Mausoleum was erected in 1815 and paid for by Public Subscriptions. Robert Burns had been buried elsewhere in the Churchyard but when the Mausoleum was complete his body were transferred to a new grave within the Mausoleum. In 1834 when Jean Armour (Robert Burns's Wife) died she was buried alongside Burns within the Mausoleum. |
