Summary

Description

A dip in a Las Vegas pool was not originally in my two-week road trip plan, but I added it later, and left home a day early, just to make it happen. And Caesars Palace, whose gorgeous pool complex is open to the public for free on weekdays, is probably the best pick. I am visiting right at the opening hour (8AM) to avoid the crowds.

I had never enjoyed a Las Vegas pool before (even visiting one just for the scenery was unheard of until a year before) - and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Here I am at the Temple of Apollo itself - I had to go in the water with my camera to come to this spot. (The pool is only 4 feet deep at most, so my camera stayed dry.)
