The Swing Bridge is the nearest in the picture, while the High Level Bridge beyond that is also visible (but mostly obscured by sheeting).Further beyond that, the white steel trusses of the Queen Elizabeth II Metro Bridge can be seen, as a two car train crosses it. The ship to the left facing upstream on the Gateshead side is the permanently moored Tuxedo Princess floating nightclub (the former car ferry TSS Caledonian Princess), accompanied by a smaller vessel. |
