- The Cross. This 190 foot cross is visible up to 20 miles away, the second largest cross in the Western Hemisphere.
- Leaning Water Tower. The water tower, once an actual source of water for the town, is an oft-photographed landmark and appears in many books and articles about Route 66. Nearby is Ralph Britten's truck stop, now boarded up and in disrepair.
