Nicosia district is a region that spans both Cyprus and Northern Cyprus. This article covers only the southern Greek-Cypriot side of the district; the Turkish-Cypriot side of the district is covered in the Nicosia (North) and Güzelyurt (Northern Cyprus) articles.
