Harjavalta is a town in Satakunta.

Harjavalta is an industrial town with about 6700 inhabitants along the Kokemäki river, Highway 2 and the Tampere-Pori railway.

By car[edit]
The town is next to Highway 2 connecting Helsinki and Pori. Highway 43 comes in from the south (Eura, Laitila and Uusikaupunki).
By train[edit]
Trains between Pori and Tampere stop at Harjavalta.
By bus[edit]
There are buses from Helsinki, Pori, Rauma and Turku, stopping at intermediate towns.

- 1 Emil Cedercreutz Museum, Museotie 1. Museum dedicated to sculptor Emil Cedercreutz (1879-1949) who lived and worked in Harjavalta.
- 2 Old church of Harjavalta. Wooden church from 1760 next to the river. At the other end of the cemetery is the new church.
