Talk:Angel Fire

I'm not sure Angel Fire should have its own page. The whole "town" is basically owned by the resort. Yes, you can sleep there (I have done so and enjoyed it), but you can sleep at lots of other isolated resorts too. It may make more sense to treat Angel Fire as an "attraction" for the nearby small town of Eagle Nest. However, it's a gray area because of our uneven treatment of ski resorts. You may be right there, as you pretty much need to go into Eagle Nest to buy almost anything. Problem is 1) I'm pretty sure there are more lodging options around Angel Fire than in Eagle Nest and 2) people as far away as Dallas have heard of Angel Fire, while Eagle Nest is relatively unknown (no skiing), so I think this should be a redirect to Eagle Nest at the very very least. Actually Angel Fire has a grocery, art galleries, banks and so forth. None of that in EN (except a new art gallery). Angel Fire has many more places to stay than in EN, also. I've lived between the two since 94. (WT-en) Travelerjjm 12:28, 30 October 2009 (MDT)
