I'm not a big fan of the 'locations' directory in most travel articles, and I'm especially cautious about it with broad activities such as beachcombing. It seems silly to start since one can explore beaches anywhere in the world. Can we all agree not to add any here? --Lumpytrout (talk) 13:41, 27 June 2013 (UTC)

Is looking for gemstones worth mentioning here? One site, famous for Lake Superior agates, is linked at Rockhounds#Destinations. Are there others? Can beachcombers find worthwhile Gemstones#Mother-of-pearl? Pashley (talk) 11:37, 25 March 2024 (UTC)
