Possible uncredited copying from Wikitravel[edit]

Please also see User talk:Reinowis. Unless User:Reinowis gives another explanation, I believe that the introduction of listing tags into the article suggests wholesale uncredited copying from Wikitravel, and that all of Reinowis' edits will have to be reverted. Of course, it's quite possible that Reinowis is copying only what s/he already inputted in Wikitravel, but s/he has not so far made any comment, and in any case, absent any statement explaining what's going on, reversions will have to take place quite soon, such as perhaps within 24 hours. This site has an obligation to protect other sites' Copyleft and our own WV:Copyleft policies, and Google also imposes a copying penalty in rankings of articles. Ben Tre[edit]

Swept in from the pub

Should the overwriting of the original article here with the contents from Wikitravel be cleaned up or simple undone? --Traveler100 (talk) 09:06, 20 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Um, how do I put this diplomatically? It will likely need to be undone because of (a) the licence requirements for attribution and (b) this is getting us penalised for duplicate content by search engines. That said, new and original contributions would be welcome. K7L (talk) 12:09, 20 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
@K7L: There are already a few posts on User_talk:Reinowis. We'll see if he responds. —Justin (koavf)TCM 19:26, 20 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

There is a bridge across the Mekong now[edit]

I've never edited this before, maybe someone with more experience than myself can. My wife is Vietnamese, from Ben Tre. I first traveled there in 2007 and at the time taking a ferry from My Tho was still the only way to get there. But there is a huge bridge now. You can just take a taxi from Ho Chi Minh City or My Tho...
