Comments[edit]

Perhaps the restaurant section should be subdivided, say into sections for local non-chain American-style restaurants, common chain restaurants, ethnic restaurants, perhaps to include Mexican, and East and South Asian restaurants. --David Erbach

I'd suggest avoiding chain restaurants altogether, and focusing on the ones that make Bowling Green unique. (WT-en) Gorilla Jones 23:45, 14 April 2009 (EDT)

Prune listings[edit]

Wikivoyage doesn't generally need to list chain restaurants... you'd have to be in a pretty dismal town when a Chick-fil-A or a McDonald's is worth listing in a travel guide as a recommended place to eat. I pruned a couple such places. I'd like to do the same to the hotels (29 listings?!) but I'm not sure which ones to keep, since none of them have any descriptions whatsoever.

In fact, would anyone be opposed to nuking the hotel listings entirely and starting from scratch with places people actually recommend? --(WT-en) BigPeteB 01:47, 13 April 2011 (EDT)

I am currently updating the hotel listings to the sleep template standard and will try to bust up the list by price range. Schwaltz (talk) 00:13, 16 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
