Talk:Catawba Island

First of all "Catawba Island" is in fact NOT an island but a peninsula. There is not one hotel in the area and the one I have listed is in fact the closest. If the purpose of the site is to provide travel information and there are no other options closer why should this not be included?

All listings, hotel or otherwise, should be in the article of their actual domicile (or the nearest if there is no such article). Is the hotel you refer to in another location for which Wikivoyage has an article? If so, it should be in that article, not this one. And the same property should never be in more than one article. I trust that clarifies for you. --(WT-en) Burmesedays 11:12, 30 December 2009 (EST)
You must be referring to the Put-in Bay Resort which is already listed in Put-in-Bay. I have therefore removed it from this article. --(WT-en) Burmesedays 11:16, 30 December 2009 (EST)

Ok I was not aware of this. I have seen instances where a hotel might be located between two attractions or towns and listed on both. Thanks

I'm questioning whether Catawba should have it's own page. It is part of the City of Port Clinton. Mailing addresses, gps, ect would all list this as Port Clinton.
