Merging[edit]

Hey Traveler100, thanks for all the great work you're doing on the Massachusetts pages! It's starting to look better and better! I noticed on the expedition page you mentioned merging Melrose_(Massachusetts) here. That's certainly doable. If it were up to me, however, I might instead combine Malden with Medford_(Massachusetts), Everett_(Massachusetts), Chelsea_(Massachusetts), Revere, and Winthrop_(Massachusetts). It feels like there would be a good amount of content in that article, and those are all the towns closest to Boston. I think they all will have similar understand sections and share transit information. Just a suggestion, thanks again for cleaning up! --ButteBag (talk) 14:15, 3 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Interesting idea, I was not thinking that ambitiously but looks like a good idea. Is there some collective name that could be used for these locations? --Traveler100 (talk) 15:44, 3 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
Everyone refers to the individual names of the towns, or they might say (in conversation) "north of the city". We could call it "Boston Metro North" or something to that effect? There could also be a "Boston Metro South" consisting of Dedham_(Massachusetts), Milton_(Massachusetts), Quincy_(Massachusetts), and Braintree_(Massachusetts). Same idea with similar understand and transit sections for these articles. --ButteBag (talk) 19:04, 3 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
