I would provide an argument Kichijoji should be merged with this article. For all intends and purposes, the only place you are likely to visit within Mitaka is Kichijoji, the city's cultural and tourism suburb.(WT-en) Snave 08:43, 23 July 2010 (EDT)

• In terms of geopolitical boundaries, most of what is commonly called Kichijoji is located in Musashino, not Mitaka. And technically speaking, Kichijoji is a political entity within Musashino. So probably it is best not to merge this page with Kichijoji. Also, Kichijoji is a destination in its own right, so even if we merged Kichijoji with Musashino or Mitaka we'd just end up creating subsections for the Kichijoji-specific sights, restaurants, bars, etc, and that would make the page unwieldy. --(WT-en) Orcrist 00:29, 18 June 2012 (EDT)

It should be noted that you cannot buy tickets at the Ghibli Museum but have to buy them before somewhere else.
