The warning in this article is dated. The region is still very dangerous, yes, but much improved in the last couple years.
Also, Al-Jazira is the informal name for this region, not the name of any province.

Hatra banner[edit]
The banner for this article is now the default on Wikidata, but it's of a building that was undoubtedly destroyed when Islamic State razed Hatra to the ground. I'd prefer no banner to this banner, and I'd suggest deleting the banner from Wikidata, too. Ikan Kekek (talk) 01:11, 26 September 2015 (UTC)
Move (rename) of region[edit]
The rename of this article is probably a good idea considering the changes in control and the many possible name of it. A neutral one seams wise. Please complete the move though by chancing the isPartOf of the city articles in this region. --Traveler100 (talk) 07:11, 20 July 2018 (UTC)
