- I don't know the place-- is it just a spring or a campsite or a little town? If it's one of the first two, then probably just roll it into the National Park... (WT-en) Majnoona 01:06, 8 Apr 2005 (EDT)
- It's about 40km away from the park headquarters and is growing into a small town. Currently there is no page for Kinabalu National Park. There is a page for Kinabalu Park but it's only a redirect the Mount Kinabalu page.

Nowhere to eat & drink?[edit]
I stumbled over this sentence: There is nowhere to eat except a small drinks/shop. Bring your own or eat in Ranau /Kundasang or back in KK. On OSM there are currently 3 restaurants listed in Poring. Not sure whether this statement is right. --Renek78 (talk) 23:38, 26 August 2019 (UTC)
