Where are the toilet?

The article has the phrase 'Where are the toilet?'. This should either be 'Where are the toilets?' or 'Where is the toilet?'. Which one is it?--88.106.1.162 09:59, 6 September 2007 (EDT)

'o' sound

The text lists 'o' as being pronounced as in 'sport' and ó as being pronounced as in 'door'. Those are identical sounds in English, according to the IPA pronunciations in a dictionary, but presumably not in Slovak. 69.121.98.21 13:51, 12 October 2010 (EDT)

"-tsah" suffix might be inaccurate

Much of the vocabulary ending with the "-ica" suffix listed here is transcribed into English as "-tsah". I find this a controversial interpretation, as it gives foreigners the mistaken impression an "h" must be always pronounced at the end. This is at odds with actual Slovak pronunciation, as no one in the country pronounces a clear "h" at the end of the aforementioned suffix. At most, you might hear a very whispy ending to the "a", because of the "ts" sound of the Slovak pronunciation of "c". But there isn't any clearly heard "h" there, not even by mistake. --ZemplinTemplar (talk) 11:21, 25 September 2020 (UTC)

Hello. As a native English speaker, it would never cross my mind that the 'H' would be pronounced, just like it isn't in the interjections "ah!", "tah!", or "argh!" Having said that, there is still some ambiguity to the vowel sound of the A. Is it like the long A in father ((IPA: ɑː), the short A in back (IPA: a), or something else? --ThunderingTyphoons!
