Hi, Istanbul is a fast food restaurant, which is fine. If you want to suggest a Turkish restaurant with one of the best Turkish food in Tubingen, you should suggest for example Aspendos. But please don't suggest a fast-food restaurant to be the best representative of the Turkish kitchen in town. Would you suggest X as a place that serves the best German food in town? I won't of course... —The preceding comment was added by (WT-en) 192.124.26.250 (talkcontribs)

Please plunge forward! --(WT-en) globe-trotter 10:47, 18 August 2011 (EDT)

"on the house where Goethe lived (or was it Schiller?)"[edit]

The both never lived here in Tübingen. Goethe once visited Tübingen from the 7th to 16th September 1797 [1]. Hermann Hesse, Friedrich Hölderlin, Ludwig Uhland and others well known german poets lived here for some years. Greetings from Tübingen. Till Kopper --93.205.46.154 08:56, 17 December 2011 (EST)

Style[edit]

The introduction to this article is slightly chaotic and disorganised with a childish/undergraduate feel to it. It could do with some work/ editing to make it more readable. —The preceding comment was added by 86.161.131.180 (talkcontribs)

I don't think it's that bad really, but if you have some ideas on how to improve it, please plunge forward and make necessary changes. Do keep in mind the Project:Tone policy, though—in short, we want lively travel writing here, not dry encyclopedic facts. – (WT-en) Vidimian 06:38, 9 July 2012 (EDT)
