"Sleep" listings southwest of Mount Yasur[edit]

Southwest of Mount Yasur, there is are several hotels listed on maps.google.com. However, they are not part of any particular town or city. The number of missing hotels will significantly reduce the effectiveness of the Wikivoyage Tanna travel guide. My thought is that these hotels should go under either White Sands or Port Resolution. Which one should they go under? Selfie City (talk) 00:47, 19 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Which community are the hotels closer to? Ikan Kekek (talk) 02:58, 19 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
On the map, they appear to be slightly closer to White Sands, but there isn't much in it. And, if this is more the question you are asking, they are not part of the White Sands area. Mount Yasur and a couple miles of tropical forest come between White Sands and the collection of hotels. Selfie City (talk) 03:08, 19 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
Might that region merit its own article in a small city article template? Anything much to say about it other than providing listings for the hotels? Ikan Kekek (talk) 03:34, 19 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
No, and that's the weird thing about the area. There are all these hotels, but no restaurants or even many houses. Selfie City (talk) 15:04, 19 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
Is there much to do around there? Ikan Kekek (talk) 10:24, 20 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
There's nothing much in the area, except for Mount Yasur, which is already included in the White Sands article. Selfie City (talk) 16:05, 20 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
Is this area inaccessible from White Sands, except by cutting through the jungle with a machete or climbing up the volcano and down the other side? How would you access the area? Ikan Kekek (talk) 02:42, 21 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
Now I'm looking at it on Google Maps, I don't see any proper roads, or roads of any sort, leading to the region. There is a road on the hotel-rich side of the volcano, though, so no crossing volcanoes is necessary. Selfie City (talk) 01:31, 28 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
