Breaking down the cities[edit]

Just curious why this page (and the other new regions) is tagged as experimental. Is it because of the way the towns and villages are broken down? Considering Fuaran buidhe's comments at the region discussion, I was thinking we could have Inverness and Nairn/Lochaber/Badenoch and Strathspey subheadings instead of Cities/Towns/Villages, which could be more useful to the traveller. They all seem to be different, so I think doing the breakdown that way and having more info in the Understand section would help convey the sense of those areas. A similar thing could be done in Ross and Cromarty if we wanted to break it down between Wester Ross/Lochalsh/Easter Ross. -Shaundd (talk) 06:06, 14 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Marked as experimental as these are the pages intended to replace Highland (Scotland), which has not yet take place. Also as you note, the pages are not by any means complete yet. Please go ahead and make any changes you think would be useful. If other do not agree it can always be discussed further and changed. --Traveler100 (talk) 07:21, 14 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
OK, once I get the first draft of the new map (it's nearly done), I'll work on the regions pages a bit. -Shaundd (talk) 07:34, 14 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Nairn is a small town east of Inverness. I've described its amenities, such as they are, under Culloden. We could create a separate page in future if these grow big enough. Grahamsands (talk) 22:09, 11 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thnaks, I have created Nairn as a redirect. AlasdairW (talk) 22:55, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
