Name[edit]

"Twin town" sounds like the name of a particular place. Does anyone object to renaming this article "Twin towns"? Ikan Kekek (talk) 03:23, 17 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

I'm fine with it, but at some point a decision will need to be made on whether to turn this page into a travel topic (it's currently a disambiguation) or split it into two different articles (as the "sister city" cultural exchange town twinning actually isn't the same as "twin cities" on opposite banks of the same river or boundary). This has been on WV:RA for a while with no clear consensus. K7L (talk) 19:07, 19 November 2016 (UTC)Reply

Suburbs vs. twin cities?[edit]

I'm a bit unsure about the addition of San Salvador to this list; it looks like the other places mentioned alongside it are merely suburbs (which exist in every city, and are not notable) therefore not "twins" in a partnership of equals. Should these be removed? K7L (talk) 16:38, 3 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
