Danger of cold[edit]
Stay safe warns:
- "Beware of cold weather during the winter; several drunk students have frozen to death after falling asleep in the soft snow."
I know this is a real danger as drunk in cold weather, but does such accidents really happen regularly? Here in southern Finland I think I haven't heard about more than a single incident. Of course, here times with temperatures below -15°C are not that common, but I'd think students in Umeå would be aware of the risk and take care of each other. Locals spicing up the warning for foreigners? –LPfi (talk) 09:04, 4 December 2020 (UTC)
